Accountability software is specifically for adults who want to guard where they go online without any blocking or filtering. Combined with filtering, it's a great Internet safety solution for the whole family.     Personally, I moved my kids computers into one central location from where I can keep half an eye on what they are doing.

    I was thinking of installing a keylogger to allow me to see exactly what they are up to at times but I know my eldest is clever enough to get around that by using friends' computers.

    I guess, ultimately, explaining to your kids what is right, wrong, safe and dangerous online is all you can do to be absolutely sure they don't come across unsuitable material or unsavoury people.
